Taekwondo sparring is an olympic sport that made its' debut in the Seoul olympic games, in 1988. Taekwondo sparring has been included as an official olympic sport in 2000, during the Sydney summer olympics.

Sparring is an effect way to learn practical applications of Taekwondo techniques. The development of timing and distance control is vital in self-defense situations. Contrary to popular belief, training in Taekwondo sparring does not make our students more aggressive. The constant "ego check" sparring offers makes our students become more humble.
